He also laid the foundation stone of Kendriya Vidyalaya in Sonepur at an estimated cost of Rs.15.81crore. The Multi-Modal Logistics Park (MMLP) at Jharsuguda is built at a cost of Rs 100 crores and will facilitate EXIM and domestic cargo including private freight traffic. Many important industries like steel, cement, paper etc are located around the facility and will benefit from it.
