Arihant current affairs magazine published this article page no 2 on 16th february 2023, the indian army has appointed lieutenant general mv suchindra kumar as the new vice chief of the army staff (vcoas). he will replace lt gen bs raju as the new vice chief of army staff. prior to being appointed vcoas, lt gen suchindra kumar served as the vice chief of army staff (strategy) and held several other important assignments including the white knight corps in jammu and kashmir. lt gen bs raju, who was till now holding the rank of vice chief of the army staff, has been transferred to the south western army command, replacing lt gen as bhinder, who is due to retire on 28 feb 2023 Arihant monthly current affairs magazine subscription.
